Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan. Assemble at the hotel and meet your host, Shirish Christie. Our Bible study tour begins directly in Madaba, a historic city with a population of 60,000, best known for its Umayyad and Byzantine mosaics.
Visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George to inspect the oldest surviving mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Nile Delta. Next, proceed to Mount Nebo along the ancient King's Highway. Stand at the memorial of Moses where he looked out over the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea before his death. Dinner and overnight stay in Amman.
After breakfast, proceed on a study trip to Petra, the Rose Red City carved in the desert cliffs of Edom. Walk through the narrow Siq to the Treasury, Royal Tombs, and ancient theaters. We will explore end-time prophecy references regarding Edom, Moab, and Petra from a biblical perspective. In the afternoon, return to Amman. Dinner and overnight in Amman.
Breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to the Sheikh Hussein Bridge border. Complete the border crossing into Israel and visit Mount Tabor, the mount of transfiguration.
Visit Capernaum, the focal point of Jesus' Galilean ministry, and stop at Tabgha (Multiplication of Loaves & Fishes) and the Mount of Beatitudes. Embark on a wooden Galilean boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter and Cana, the site of the water-into-wine wedding miracle. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.
Check out after breakfast. Visit Nazareth, the boyhood home town of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Tour the Basilica of the Annunciation. Stop by the Mediterranean coast to view Caesarea and Mt. Carmel.
Proceed to the Jordan River baptismal site at Yardenit for studies and baptism opportunity. Drive through the Jordan Valley to Judea and check in at our hotel in Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
A full desert study excursion. Climb or ride the cable car to Masada, the plateau fortress built by Herod the Great and site of the historic Roman siege of 73-74 CE.
Continue to the lush oasis of Ein Gedi nature reserve in the Judean desert, where David hid from King Saul. Conclude the afternoon at Qumran, the archaeological settlement where the Essene community lived and where the historic Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947. Return to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight stay.
Visit the City of David archaeological park near the Old City walls, walking through the ancient Canaanite water shaft. Drive through the Judean desert to Jericho, studying the fall of the city walls, and stop at the Sycamore tree.
Visit Bethany, the home of Lazarus and his tomb. Spend the late afternoon floating in the mineral waters of the Dead Sea. Conclude the day by visiting the Wailing Wall (Kotel) in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem. Overnight in Bethlehem.
Enter the Old City to visit the Pools of Bethesda. Walk along the Via Dolorosa, tracing the path of the cross to Golgotha inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit Pilate's Judgment Hall and the mock trial flags pavement. In the afternoon, visit the Cenacle (Last Supper Room) and King David's Tomb on Mount Zion. Overnight in Bethlehem.
Proceed to the Wailing Wall for corporate prayer. Visit Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptist. Stop in Jericho to view Qarantal (the Mount of Temptation). We hold an outstation study session discussing the Intertestamental Period and geography transitions. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Bethlehem.

In the afternoon, tour Bethlehem, visiting Shepherd's Field and the historic Church of the Nativity. Visit the Grotto of St. Jerome and the Milk Grotto. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
Check out early from Bethlehem. Drive south through the Negev desert to Eilat, crossing the Taba border into Egypt. Complete the customs stamping. Proceed directly to the Sinai Peninsula, surrounded by the granite Sinai mountains. Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel, check out and visit the 6th-century fortress of St. Catherine's Monastery, located at the foot of Mount Sinai where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Inspect the chapel of the Burning Bush, old church mosaics, and historic library. In the afternoon, drive across the Suez canal to Cairo. Check in at the hotel in Cairo. Dinner and overnight.
Guided city tour of Giza, visiting the majestic Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Proceed to the Egyptian Museum to view ancient artifacts. Visit papyrus and perfume manufacturing centers. In the evening, enjoy a buffet dinner cruise on the River Nile, watching traditional Egyptian shows on board. Overnight stay in Cairo.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out and visit Old Cairo's Coptic churches, the Hanging Church, and St. Michael's Synagogue. After lunch, transfer to Cairo International Airport for the final departure flight back to India, carrying rich spiritual insights of the covenants.
